Brunswick Book Babes

Stephanie is a charter member of the Brunswick Book Babes. She's a teacher's aide in a local elementary school and when she's not working, paying her husband back for past favors, hanging with her daughter, or training her new puppy, Bandit, you may find her reading ... ah who are we kidding? You'll probably find her on the phone.

Kim is another charter member of the Brunswick Book Babes. She also happens to be Web Mistress for this site and Editor for another travel site. When she's not working, riding her bike, playing spider solitaire on her computer or cooking, you'll find her reading. Ha! Fooled you again, she's probably sacked out on the couch, pigging out on Milk Duds and popcorn, watching some movie for the millionth time.

Carole is our third charter member of the Brunswick Book Babes. Her favorite books are The Kite Runner and the Other Bolelyn Girl. Her least favorite book is The Glass Lake (luckily we didn't read that). Her favorite movie, the American President. She was born in New Brunswick, and her least favorite Halloween costume was a Domino - hmm...

Amy is our fifth charter member of the Brunswick Book Babes. Amy's favorite book is The Red Tent while her least favorite is The Corrections. She too was born in New Brunswick and if she could have an affair with any character from a book, it would be Dr. Alex Cross from the James Patterson series. In the summer, you can often find Amy sitting in the sun, doing what else? Reading.

Renee is our sixth charter member. She too loved The Other Bolelyn Girl (by the way, this is now a motion picture), but hated the Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. Our third member to be born would rather not have any affairs with any book characters, "I don't need the complications." As you can tell, when Renee isn't reading, watching one of her kids sports activities or participating in school drama (and we don't mean of the acting variety), you can find her running.

Another Carol! Don't ask her favorite book or least favorite, where she was born or if she'd have an affair; she's too busy tracking down pink bread for tea parties for her grand daughter to answer silly questions. And really, can you blame her? Other than grand kids though, Carol does have a passion for lighthouses.

Ah Pam, our seventh charter member, and some may say the instigator to the Brunswick Book Babes (though she'd never come up with that name). Pam's our answer to Jackie Kennedy and Martha Stewart all rolled into one. Her favorite book is Secret Life of Bees while her least favorite was Daughter of Fortune. She was born in Ohio but grew up in the south and her favorite movie is, the classic, Dr. Zhivago (is that spelled, correctly?).

Lisa is the last charter member mentioned here. Her favorite book is Charlotte's Web (good pick) while her least favorite is Blessings (which we did read). Her favorite musical group is The Rolling Stones (other than the Beatles, I think it was the only respectable group mentioned by any of our participants). Though, while possessing good musical taste, Lisa decided she's too old to have an affair with a character from a book - go figure.

Ibolya is our first new member to Brunswick Book Babes, though not really. If memory serves she was invited to join when we first formed but she blew us off. Ibolya adds an international flair to what some may consider our "provincial" group (wink, wink) and I'll have a bit more information as soon as she returns the "about me" questionnaire. Well, at least the Latin is gone.

Lisa is our second "new " member to Brunswick Book Babes, though she hasn't joined us just yet. Her first meeting was August 3rd, with Team of Rivals (that's some initiation). When Lisa isn't driving her brood around, you can find her at the gym. I haven't given her "the questionairre" yet, so will update this with some more information shortly.
